TotalEnergies is partner of 12 events and title sponsor of the 10 main competitions of the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF). Our aim? To share the passion and celebration of football, to offer a friendly spectacle rich in emotion, to promote the values of this sport and to contribute to its development, particularly among young people.

TotalEnergies, Partner of African Football

In 2016, TotalEnergies signed a partnership with CAF, the continent's football governing body. We thus became the title sponsor of CAF's 10 main competitions, including the prestigious African Cup of Nations (AFCON). With over one billion viewers worldwide, the TotalEnergies CAF African Cup of Nations is the most important sporting event in Africa and the 3^rd biggest football competition in the world.

In January 2025, we extended our partnership with CAF to 2028, integrating two new events. The objective: strengthening our support for the development of football in Africa, particularly among young people.

Africa is an integral part of TotalEnergies' DNA. Through this commitment, we hope to strengthen ties to our stakeholders and customers through exciting, celebratory events that are always popular, including within our own teams.
