A Day Full of Energies – The Afternoon

10/28/2022

Energy is everywhere in our daily lives. We offer our customers increasingly low-carbon products for everyday uses to help them navigate the energy transition with the objective of carbon neutrality (Net Zero) by 2050, together with society. At work, in the city or during a snug at home, find out more about our products and solutions for our customers in a daily use.

In your working environment:

  • Charging points for company vehicles: We install charge points close to our customers, at businesses or establishments open to the public.
  • Solar panels: We are developing our renewable power generation capacities and plan to have gross capacity of 35 GW by 2025, of which 4 GW in France.
  • On-board telematics: With Mobility Connect, we offer a data management tool for optimal tracking of vehicle fleets. The solution comes with an eco-driving module to help motorists reduce their fuel consumption and related CO2 emissions.
  • Offshore wind Offshore turbines, which are more productive than land-based units, should allow us to generate 2 GW by 2025.

When you're out and about in town:

  • Natural Gas Vehicles: We are accelerating the deployment of new NGV stations, particularly for trucks and professional transporters. NGV releases fewer polluting emissions and greenhouse gases. Our ambition: develop a network of more than 1,200 service stations offering CNG and bio-NGV, particularly in Europe and the United States.
  • Cars: With our Hutchinson affiliate, we design high value-added materials that help reduce mobility’s carbon footprint through more effective insulation, sealants and energy performance.
  • Biojet fuel: TotalEnergies supplies French airports with sustainable aviation fuel made from waste and residues sourced from the circular economy.

During your cocooning evening:

  • Biogas In France, renewable gas purchased from farms that produce biomethane accounts for 10% of the gas used by our customers.
  • Heating The compressed wood logs we sell in France are made solely from wood processing residue (sawdust and chips). Their low level of humidity makes for better combustion and fewer polluting gas emissions.
  • Insulation Plastics help reduce the construction industry’s CO2 emissions by contributing to buildings’ thermal insulation
