Renewables & electricity
Through TE H2, a joint venture between TotalEnergies (80%) and the EREN Group (20%), we are developing the Chbika project, which aims to build 1 GW of onshore solar and wind power capacity to power the production of green hydrogen through the electrolysis of desalinated seawater and its conversion into 200,000 tonnes of green ammonia per year, for the European market. This project is the first phase of a development program aimed at creating a world-scale green hydrogen production center.
We are also developing our distributed generation activities in the country.
Specialty, petroleum and bio-based products
In Morocco, we operate a lubricant blending plant, two LPG bottling plants, and several oil depots (owned or jointly-owned).
Our affiliate Hutchinson also has two of its own affiliates in Morocco.

In Morocco, we are a major player in the distribution of petroleum products: fuels, LPG, lubricants and other products for our industrial customers. Our distribution network comprises more than 390 service stations, some of which are solarized and/or equipped with electric recharging stations.
